Nomad Collection- Johnston
An earthy green sky meets 114 year old cedar mountains, towering trees and a large moose wandering through the forest.
This piece is named after an iconic hike in Banff National Park- Johnston Canyon where my friends and I went viral for our comical unpreparedness earlier this year. The hike up to the ink pots itself is full of stunning mossy forest and I had to pull inspo from it to create this piece.
The wood in this piece is all reclaimed; the backer is an off-cut from a large construction project, the 114 year old cedar is from a homestead in southern Sask that’s set for demolition and the remaining cedar is panelling from a demo in Canmore.
